Meet The Owner
Brittanie has been passionately educating and influencing new beauty professionals for over a decade.
Brittanie began her career in the salon industry in 2009 when she obtained her shampoo assistant license at age 17. While working in the salon, she began cosmetology school and fell in love with the industry. After graduating from cosmetology school, and while working behind the chair, she obtained an Associates in Salon and Spa Management and completed her Instuctor Training Program. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of North Alabama in 2014 and has been a licensed cosmetology instructor for over a decade. After serving as the Director at a local cosmetology school, Brittanie decided it was time to pursue her lifelong dream of opening her own school; thus, Bennett School of Cosmetology was born. Brittanie is a Milady Certified Master Educator, a licensed barber instructor, and is certified in Invisible Bead Extensions. She is most passionate about empowering future industry professionals to fulfill their potential and reach their professional goals. As a current, practicing life and business coach, Brittanie uses a multitude of teaching methods to meet students where they are in the learning process and tailors lessons to engage a variety of learning styles.
